We were inspired by this Blue King Brown video to turn Ogi's bicycle into a Mobile Sound System ! If you have some old speakers and/or fluoro LED lights you could donate or just want to get involved then contact Dewa now

Film Night - Rastas Never Die - Lucky Dube Documentary (English sub French)

Friday May 27th @8pm.  

An evening of South African music including Hugh Masekela, Mahotella Queens, Die Antwoord and Lucky Dube, Africa's biggest-selling reggae artist. Dube was murdered in the Johannesburg suburb of Rosettenville on the evening of 18 October 2007.

Snacks and drinks available but feel free to bring your own and share !

KK Institute Film nights are very Balinese - everyone walks around chatting loudly and getting up to dance when they feel the mood. If you are french then you can watch the subtitles !
We have an exciting new exhibition lined up for October - watch this space for more news !

Philippe Janssens will be exhibiting his wonderful abstract artwork at 3 or 4 differents locations this year, and we are proud to annouce that the first show will be at KupuKupu ! 

From Sept.10th to Sept.24...come early and avoid the crowd....

Next week @KKICA is excited to be exhibiting some very special art from 2 amazing Balinese artists with very different yet complementary styles : Dewa Made Anom (Gianyar) and Rudi (I Ketut Ridiarto - Mas) at Aboetd Art.

UBUDO are now running Art Tours for selected groups giving you the opportunity to meet some of Ubud's most innovative and creative Contemporary Artists.

Showing  Wed Aug 12th at Kupu Kupu Art Room a film about the origin and effects of plastic in our society... Narrative by the grandson of one of the inventors of plastic. Film will be provided by Aleksandra Adamczyk A donation to cover expenses would be appreciated, but we leave it up to you...Let's connect and see what we can achieve!
